Indie Spotlight: PinkyToast

Normally I'd be posting my weekly art journaling right about now... but to be honest, my stuff is all in boxes and I have no idea where my art journal is at the moment. I actually did the page spread ahead of time in anticipation of this move, but I wasn't 100% satisfied with it, so I decided to put off finishing it until I felt more inspired. Hopefully I'll be back up and running next week!

You've probably figured out by now that I'm all about independent artists and small businesses. So I'm going to start sharing shops and artists I love - hopefully you'll find a new artist or shop you love somewhere along the way. =)

I came across Pinky Toast artwork browsing around Etsy. Since I was about to move, I (only somewhat successfully) avoided buying online for a little while. But now that we're in the new house, I finally placed an order for a few pieces tonight. These walls need decoration!

What I love about Pinky Toast: first off, the name. So fitting too. The beautiful colors and style. The tattooed girls and poofy dresses. The lacey heart frames. The balloons. And best of all... the very reasonable prices! I'd say these are my favorites... but there are so many I can't really pick. See for yourself!

Hah, underwear pencil bag print! Gotta love it.

Check out more Pinky Toast artwork here.

What do you think? I can't wait for my order to arrive! Now I just need to get some pretty frames. Don't worry, I have ideas... =)

Indie Spotlight is a feature where I share a cool independent artist or small business. If you know of any artists / shops (could be your own) that you think fit my style, leave me a comment & link or e-mail me and I may feature them / you in a future post. =)
